Lily Dooner, also known as MAESTRA, is an award-winning composer and vocalist, specializing in creating ethereal and atmospheric scores for film, tv and games.
After releasing three commercial EPs under her own name and spending a year as lead vocalist and producer for Welsh band Passiflora, MAESTRA wanted to pursue a more unusual style of music. Using a wide range of instruments and experimental vocal techniques, MAESTRA creates atmospheric and expansive scores that express her passion for fantasy, history, and feminist narrative.

After achieving an MA in Songwriting and Production from the University of South Wales, MAESTRA released a self-titled album of original compositions. She has since scored three short films for White Crow Productions. MAESTRA provided the original score for S4C’s Welsh Language short Carreg Gron for which she won Best Composer 2024.
MAESTRA also works as a music producer and is currently collaborating with Bristol based musician Old Moll on a selection of upcoming singles.
